Photology is proud to present the fourth edition of Photology AIR (Art In Ruins), located in Tenuta Busulmone in a contemporary art park within 30 hectares of land.
Drawing inspiration from the theme “ruins”, as a synonym for modernization, the exhibitions and installations are set up in the restored open air spaces of a nineteenth-century convent and in natural trails within the estate.
The edition 2023 opens up during the Noto Infiorata and features various artistic attractions.
Following the 2023 Infiorata theme, we start introducing “Photology Noto is Cinema” with a special presentation of vintage photographic works by Pierluigi Praturlon, a video projection “A Flash of Art” by Alessandro Amaducci (SPAZIO AIR) and a selected Art Books presentation about cinema (ZONA BELVEDERE).
Silvia Camporesi is presenting a preview of her project “Mirabilia”, visible through a labyrinthine installation made of photographic linen sheets (SPAZIO AIR), leading to an exhibition of large format framed works (ZONA BELEVDERE) and eventually getting a complete vision of the project visiting her online show (PHOTOLOGY ONLINE GALLERY).
Emilio Fantin, working on his conceptual research of the “not-perceptible”with the permanent installation “L’incubo del mandorlo caduto” (ZONA PARKING).
Cuoghi Corsello are presenting their sculptures dated 2018 (ACCESSO AIR).
Open to the public the trailing experience of “Planta Manent” made by the duo Gaglione-Uccello. An ideal walking path within the local natural diversities with a striking southern view towards the merging of the two seas and, facing east, a magnificent glance to the historical center of Noto (NATURALISTIC TRAIL).
